Straight answers
When a repair is enough
A repair makes sense when the damage is local and the rest of the surface is sound. If the gelcoat is worn through in several places, or osmosis has spread, a repair only fixes part of the problem.
We don't do standalone patch repairs on concrete pools. Repairs to a concrete shell are done as part of a full fibreglass resurface.
Crack repairs carry a 12 month written warranty. Send us photos and we'll tell you which option suits your pool.
Questions
Common questions
Do you repair cracks in concrete pools?
Yes, as part of a full fibreglass resurface. We fill the crack with a two-part epoxy concrete repair product and then fibreglass over it. We don't do standalone patch repairs on concrete pools.
Can you fix osmosis blisters?
Yes. The reliable way to remove osmosis blisters is to cut them out and re-laminate with fibreglass. If osmosis is widespread, a full resurface is usually the right fix.
My pool is losing water. Can you help?
Water is often lost through surface fittings such as eyeball jets or hydrostatic valves. We can repair and replace these.
